What do I need to do to book?

Following our consultation, I’ll curate and present resort options and quotes tailored specifically to your preferences. Once you’ve selected your vacation, we’ll finalize and confirm your booking.

What do payments look like? 

You can pay between as many cards, as many times as you'd like directly through either myself or your Sandals app.

Deposit & Payment Schedule

Initial Deposit: $49 per person | $98 total
Due at the time of booking. Rooms are based on double occupancy.

Secondary Deposit: $302
Due 21 days after the initial booking.

Final Balance:
Due 45–60 days prior to departure, depending on the specific booking and resort terms.

Can I bring children?

Unfortunately, children cannot stay at Sandals Resorts, as Sandals is exclusively 18+ adults only.

For families traveling with children, Beaches Resorts is a wonderful alternative, offering a family-friendly experience with plenty for both kids and adults to enjoy.  Complimentary supervised Kids Camp programs are available 8am to 9pm by age group with age-appropriate activities, certified staff, and special needs support.  

All nannies and Kids Camp staff are members of the International Nanny Association with at least 2,000 hours of child-care experience, trained in safety, nutrition and child development.  Beaches is the first resort company to complete IBCCES Autism Certification, offering specialized activities and dining for children with autism and other special needs. 

If you’re traveling with older children who are 18 or older, they are welcome at Sandals! Just keep in mind that Sandals Resorts primarily offer king-bed accommodations, so the resort tends to be a great fit for couples, solo travelers, and friends traveling together as well.

Can I get a discount?

Yes, a 10% discount for IAFF members, police, FEMA, military, EMTs!!! You will verify your status on Sheer ID.  

Military/Police/FEMA/Firefighters (verified through Sheer ID):

• To qualify for this offer:

  • at least one person on your booking must be a United States or Canada veteran, Reservist Guard or active-duty military personnel. 

    • This includes Retired, Reserves, U.S. National Guard, U.S. Veterans, U.S. Department of Defense and Canada Department of National Defense.

  • at least one person on your booking must be a United States active U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency personnel.

  • at least one person on your booking must be a United States or Canada active Police, Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician or Search and Rescue personnel.

What about flights?

I’m more than happy to assist with your flights if you’d like me to coordinate your airfare as part of your overall travel experience. That said, I understand that many clients prefer to maintain direct control and autonomy over their flights.

Many travelers also have airline loyalty status, miles, or credit card points that they prefer to utilize when booking airfare.

For this reason, I often recommend booking flights separately from your resort reservation. This gives you the most flexibility to manage your itinerary directly with the airline — including making real-time changes, selecting or changing seats, and addressing delays or schedule changes as they arise.

In most cases, booking airfare through the resort does not provide a significant additional savings, so keeping your flight and resort reservations separate can offer greater flexibility while allowing you to take advantage of your own airline benefits and rewards.

Does it cost anything to use Flamingo Flock Adventures/a travel agent?

The price is the same whether you book directly with the resort or through Flamingo Flock Adventures.  My goal is to take the work off your plate while helping you make the most of your vacation.

My travel planning services are complimentary to you, meaning you receive personalized guidance, resort recommendations, quotes, booking assistance, and support throughout the planning process — without an additional fee.

You’re not paying more for my expertise; you’re simply gaining a dedicated travel advisor in your corner to help make the planning process easier and more personalized.

Is the water safe to drink?

All Sandals Resorts have water filtration plants on property, which makes the water in your room perfectly safe to drink. Bottled water is provided in each suite and at all bars, and replenished as needed at no additional cost.
